Electronic Ignition Kit - TY125 & TY175

For all years & models of Yamaha TY125 & TY175
This is a total replacement Kit –
The only original part we retain is the flywheel as it cannot be bettered
Can be adjusted without taking the flywheel off.
Spark is produced at revs as low as 400 rpm
(Kickstart speed approximately 600 rpm)
The ignition has an analogue advance curve.
Builds up to 25 degrees of advance @ 2200rpm
This curve is ideal for low speed torque (round trees and over rocks) but produces good power and revs at larger throttle openings

Kit consists of the following parts -
NEW INNER & OUTER BACKPLATE WITH SOURCE COIL AND WIRING
NEW CDI UNIT
NEW HT COIL AND LEAD
New NGK plug cap

All kits are run on the bench before shipping and are timed up for the TY125 & TY175 so are ready to fit and use straight away.
The backplate has slotted screw holes for adjustment, which can be done without removing flywheel. Each fixing screw on the inner backplate has 2 hole positions offering more adjustment if required
Kit also fits the 200cc conversion
