Double spring - 1 inside, 1 outside
The 2 springs are needed to form the seal
DON'T Fit single spring seals, waste of time, money and effort
Both these oil seals have castellations on the inside faces to help with bearing clearance so when fitting the green side should be seen from the outside of the crankcase.

Including the all important o-ring that everybody misses out and wonders why the bike doesn't run well!!!
