New Float Valve & Gasket
For all years of TY250 Twinshock with Mikuni Carbs marked '493' with the main jet holder coming out the side of the float bowl
If there is fuel coming out of the float bowl overflow then this is likely to be the culprit. Either caused by a piece of dirt lodged in the valve so it cannot close or wear in the assembly itself. To test if it is worn run your thumbnail up the cone of the needle and if you can feel a ridge then it needs replaced.
This is the complete assembly, valve, needle & aluminium gasket, they need to be replaced as one unit. Don't forget the gasket or your float height will be wrong.
Float height should be 24mm +/-1.00mm, measured without gasket.

Will not fit the TY250A as that bike uses a Tekei carb, will fit if the later TY250 Mikuni carb has been fitted, as detailed above
